1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ
- 4.0 liter 6 cylinder w/ Borla header and exhaust, high performance catalytic
converter, Airraid breathing tube w/ conical KN filter, Poweraid throttle
body extension, Optima Yellow Top, and Currie 1" motor mounts
- Stock AX-15 5 speed transmission
- NV231 Transfer Case w/ Advanced Adapters HD slip yoke eliminator w/ Tom
Woods polished and clear coated front and rear cv driveshafts
- 4 1/2" Rubicon Express springs and front upper control arms, Teraflex F
& R lower and rear upper control arms and w/ front 1.5" coil spacers and Performance
Accessories 2" body lift (slowly moving from the sorry Tera 3" lift to the
superior RE lift)
- Rubicon Express adjustable front track bar and Teraflex adjustable rear
track bar (really helped ride and flex!)
- Rancho 5000 front and 9000 rear shocks
- JKS front and rear bar pin eliminators
- Dana 44 - 30 spline Front high pinion (Advanced Frame Works) and Rear (Factory
option) axles w/ 4.56 gears, Detroit lockers w/ 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Front
has Ford rotors, calipers and knuckles and Warn heavy duty locking hubs, rear
has Moser alloy axle shafts, TSM rear disc brakes.
- Performance Unlimited knuckle over heavy duty crossover steering (necessitated
a lengthened passenger side swaybar link bracket and shortened link)
- JKS Quicker disconnects
- Custom high clearance rectangular side bars
- Bulletproof FF1 front and FF1RS rear bumpers w/ shackle brackets, winch
mount, swing away tire carrier and Hilift mount
- Tomken Machine undercarriage skid plate, Teraflex gas tank and steering
box skid plate
- Essentially Off-Road roll cage modified so that it actually works with a
soft top. The original top cross bar in kit was 2" too short and, if
used, put the 2 main bars off the hoop too close together. Use the door surrounds
to make sure you have a good fit before you complete welds!
- Warn HS9500i winch
- 36" x 12.50" Super Swamper TSL SXs on Allied black steel 15"
x 10" bead lock rims
- Sahara package (white/spice)
- Factory spice hardtop and soft top w/ full doors (dual top factory option),
Bestop header Safari bikini (sucks)
- Cobra 75 WXST CB radio w/ K- 40 antenna, Sony CD player w/ Eclipse front
and rear speakers (not great Hifi products, either one!)
- Tuffy Series II security console and rear cargo drawer with risers and dividers
(use common sense, not their directions to install them)
- Jeep rubber slush mats
- Thomas 1/3 hp compressor
- Hella 500 driving lights
- 1999 GMC K2500 4x4 'Burb w/ 454cid V-8, Power Programmed, Optima Yellow
Topped and KN filtered to drag it around with and Praise Dyno cryogenically
treated slotted discs w/ kevlar and ceramic pads/shoes and trick spring kit
to stop it and the Jeep and trailer. BTW the brakes work great!
