[IMG dix96-01-th] Todd's Jeep trying to climb the rock face at the guard rail on trail #11 shortly before the helicopter pad. Todd needed to winch. Hardly anyone made it up that day.

[IMG dix96-02-th] Ernie West of the Middle Tennessee Trail Runner on the same rock face. He finally made it, but broke his rear axle in the process.

[IMG dix96-03-th] Steve Turek looking not at all pleased that his Cherokee started sliding off of trail #5. We finally had to winch his Cherokee back on the trail so his truck wouldn't touch the tree.

[IMG dix96-05-th] Steve O'Neal trying to go up Hard Rock on trail #9. He had to winch to make it up. So did everyone else that day.

[IMG dix96-06-th] Steve Turek trying to go up Hard Rock on trail #9. O'Neal winched him up. This is not a rock you want to play around on. If you slide too far to the left with your front end half way up, you'll almost certainly roll.
