More of Moab Rim Trail

These are additional pictures and descriptions from Moab Rim Trail, submitted by David Beihoff. These pictures contain excellent close-up shots of some of the more difficult spots on the trail. However, the background scenery visible in some of the images is also beautiful!

Excerpt from the previous Moab Rim Trail page:

The Moab Rim Trail is a 4+ on the Red Rock 4 Wheeler scale and includes steep off camber rock climbs and ledges. The first part of the trail runs along the very edge of the canyon wall and the steep drop off serves to remind you to place your tires carefully. Moab Rim is a short round trip trail that will take half a day because of the difficulty level. Thanks to some excellent spotting on the part of Sam Houston, the only difficulty anyone had on the trail was when David Beihoff's lack of ground clearance prevented him from making it up two of the ledges. That problem was remedied with a couple of quick tugs by Tim Bramble. Special thanks needs to be given to Janice Beihoff and Sam Houston who, despite the fact that the ground was hot enough to fry an egg on, hiked up and down almost the whole trail spotting and taking pictures and video for the group.
