Important Note:   The land around Monteagle is private land and is not open for public use!
DO NOT TRESPASS! You may be arrested and the land owners will close the trails to everyone!
We go there with local people that have permission to use the trails. If you do not have permission, you are trespassing.

The Renegade 4WD Club and Middle Tennessee Trail Runners went on a joint trail ride and these are some of the pictures. The two clubs frequently go on rides together.

[IMG mte960427-01-th]Bryan going through a deep mud hole as Doc Bagby watches. In case you can't tell, those are 44 inch Super Swampers being buried in the hole. He did make it through. He usually does.

[IMG mte960427-02-th]Doc Bagby climbing the stairs at the turnpike. Not a problem for his big Jeep. As a side note, it sure is nice to have a doctor (orthopedic surgeon) along on your trail rides. He's very good at stitching flat tires :-)

[IMG mte960427-03-th]Todd Pazol climbing the stairs at another spot on the turnpike. Doc Bagby and Bryan watch to teach Todd driving techniques :-)

[IMG mte960427-04-th]Steve Turek emerging from the cave with his Cherokee. It's an incredible camping place. Many vehicles can comfortably park inside the cave. It's also a lot of fun to explore. Some of the side tunnels go back a long way. The darkness in the back is absolute. You can't even see your hand in front of your face.
