Jan
18, 2003: We met Richard Bagby, our guide, bright and early on a very
cold morning (8 degrees). The first half of the day was spent on a wooded
trail with steep hills and some rocks. The second half of the day we spent
on Iron Gap Trail, a newly re-opened (by court order) county road that
was very unimproved. The main features were solidly frozen ruts (kept
the Jeeps straight) and a long rocky section leading to a dry wash with
large solid rock formations (play time!).
